An old mansion in Kifissia from the end of the 19th century. A journey of taste inspired by the simplicity and flavours of the Italian cuisine. Fresh pasta, risotto, Neapolitan pizza, good wine and aperitivi.
 
The word "Monzù" derives from the French "Monsieur" and refers to all the professional chefs who were trained in France during the 18th & 19th centuries, worked for the aristocracy of Southern Italy and defined what we know today as the Italian traditional taste.
 
At Monzù you have an Italian culinary experience that speaks directly to your heart. 

Food Menu

Try a modernist approach to classic Italian flavors, with a new alternative approach based on the personal angle of our chef Giannis Liokas. Pure and hand-picked raw materials, handmade pizza dough with biga yeast, handmade pasta, meat and fish in perfect balance and techniques that borrow elements without being trapped in geographical gastronomic stereotypes.

Cocktails Menu

Spritz, negronis, americanos & highball, espresso martinis and cocktails. The Monzù mixes have been curated by Spyros Kerkyras and his team, Lykourgos Christothanopoulos and Giannis Karapas. Drinks that stand worthy next to the delicious suggestions of the food menu and invite you to say: "Cheers to the good times!".

It has been written that wine is bottled poetry and this phrase find us in complete agreement. In our wine list you will find twenty-six selected labels from the best local and international vineyards. Just ask the sommelier which one goes best with your dish.

Our chef, Yiannis Liokas.

Our chef, Yiannis Liokas, has been a fan of experiential cuisine for many years. Ingredients, memories and special techniques are mixed together and create unique versions of the flavors of the world.

Yiannis comes from Epirus and he has a long history in the Greek gastronomic scene. He has apprenticed with distinguished chefs in Milan and Paris and he has recently been appointed as the executive chef of Hide & Seek All Day Bar Restaurant in Chalandri, Stories Urban Bistronomy in the heart of Athens, and The Royal Monkey in Kifissia.

Through the Monzù's menu, he ᾽᾽communicates in Italian᾽᾽ in his own unique way.
